2019 Collection

Mediterranean Grafts is the title of the collection presented by the Sicilian company LITHEA at Palazzo Litta: the exhibit, designed by Martinelli Venezia Studio, showcases furnishings results of the collaboration with designers who have a special bond with the Mediterranean. The new furniture and covering proposals express different creative language, interpreting the inspirations creating elements that tell stories, designed for home or contract interiors.

Stone materials and precious stones will be the key theme of these designs. Stones which Lithea works with great expertise, coming from half a century’s worth of experience in this sector.

The Mediterranean is synonymous with exploration, discovery, understanding the unknown; a mixture of people, goods, trade but above all of culture. This sea has always been a meeting place, a crossroads, and thus a contamination, a hybridization: a stratification of skills and techniques which represent an extraordinary heritage that one must refocus attention on through new approaches grafting the contemporary onto the traditional.
