Marella Ferrera designs “Trame Mediterranee” new collection

“Sicily is the place of my inspirations but Milan is the city where, from a working point of view, I did the most important things”. And it is precisely in the capital of fashion that the Catania-based designer Marella Ferrera is away on the occasion of the Salone del mobile. Many initiatives of the Milan International Design Week are linked to the great design event – until April 17 at the cloisters of the Humanitarian. For Ferrera it is an «incredible world stage, where it is good to be». This time, however, the artist will not only go around ateliers and catwalks, but will debut in the world of design with the Trame mediterranei creations, which offer a vision of the signs of the Mediterranean written on stone and designed for the Sicilian company Lithea.
